A year of a hiatus saw Chris Sheehan leave The Sisters of Mercy to pursue other interests. He was replaced by Chris Catalyst who had been working with Adam at his studio in Headingly before and was well known in the Leeds muscicc scene for his Robochrist project and plenty other activities.

Initially, a further festival gig at Carpe Noctem Festival, Wiesen, Austria was planned but got cancelled by the band when it turned out being promoted as a "goth" event.

A highlight of this tour was the cover of Uptown Top Ranking, originally by Althia & Donna, The Sisters performed at Lokerse Feesten, NL.
